This is a wonderful time to be teaching and learning as we are now able to offer a more flexible service via virtual learning.
As a company, we have welcomed the chance to develop our online offer. Virtual training is offered from our in-house studio via your in-house systems such as MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Adobe Connect, GoToTraining and any appropriate platform that suits you.
We have a lively interactive approach to virtual learning which is all part of keeping the delegates interested, learning and thinking about how they can use the frameworks for themselves.
Our first technique is learning by discovery in their group work, where objectives are set and the delegates carry out group work in a breakout area to then return and brief the rest of the students. In this delegate led learning, the groups can work together and now have access to a wider source of material like the internet to share on screen and discuss to draw their conclusions. We find that the delegates enjoy and learn from this chance to research, interact with each other and analyse the topic together.
The other techniques that we use to keep our learners engaged are quick fire question rounds to confirm understanding and cement knowledge, lively discussions with the whole course and frequent stretch breaks. We also run on-screen questionnaires and pop quizzes to keep the delegates engaged and involved in their learning. This mix of approaches helps keep our students stay focused and learning throughout the day.
